This week students will review the characteristics and elements of plays.  Since students will learn about characteristics of myths in writing, our play for reading is also a myth -  Pandora's Box!  .  Students will identify the importance of stage directions, dialogue, and organization of a play.  After examining the story and play, students will compare both versions by using key ideas from each source. Students will be able to summarize events from this play as well as use the character's words and actions to determine the play's theme.
