Will be our focus as we begin the second quarter.  Students will explore several myths, including Pandora's Box.  In doing so, students will identify the unique characteristics of this genre.  Students will also build upon their prior knowledge to compare the setting and characters.  To determine the theme of the myth, students will examine how characters react to challenges that they face.  This will also provide students with the chance to practice writing narrative summaries.
