Students will get back in to the school routine by revisiting the Junior Great Books Story, The Hundred Dollar Bill. Students will create questions and participate in discussion groups. This story will also be used to help students answer questions by providing specific support from the text. In small groups, students will continue to explore a variety of poetry and identify various literary elements.
By the end of this week, we hope to begin our analysis of informational text. Students will use multiple texts related to the same topic to synthesize and integrate information.
