As we begin Unit 2, fifth graders will learn the structure and parts of an atom.  In doing so, students will then be able to connect this knowledge to static electricity and energy.  Students will have the chance to see static electricity in action and describe what it is able to do.  Can you think of examples of static electricity that you have experienced?  Be ready to share this week!
