As students learn about the earth's rotation and revolution (which causes day/night and our seasons), they will also learn about earth's only satellite, the moon!
We will then travel farther in to the solar system to learn about the characteristics of planets, as well as their location in space in relationship to the sun.  By learning about each planet, students will be able to determine why earth is the only planet that supports life.
