Last week students worked collaboratively to move their teacher (drawn by our very own Mr. Barger and attached to a metal bar) from one end of the table to the other end.  The catch - you could only touch the strings and your teacher needed to end up in the cup.  All students had a great time during this engineering task!
As we begin the 3rd marking period, students will explore the properties of light.  This week students will not only learn that light is made of tiny particles (photons), but vocabulary words that will be used to describe light.  Among them refract, reflect, transparent, opaque, and translucent.
