Now that students have had the chance to read about, explore, and build parallel and series circuits, it's checkpoint time!!!  If you decorate your home for the holiday season or see strings of lights as you are out and about, ask your child what would happen if the lights were wired as a series circuit and one went out?  What about if the lights were wired as a parallel circuit?  Through our study of this unit, students have learned that parallel circuits are by far the most popular!
 Once students demonstrate their knowledge of circuits, our next topic will be magnets.
