This week students will finish examining the acts which led to the Revolutionary War.  A half-sheet study guide has been sent home.  Make sure you sign and return it to your child's teacher. Students should be able to describe the following events and how they angered the colonists:
The Boston Tea Party
The Stamp Act
The Quartering Act
The Intolerable Acts
The Proclamation of 1763

Students should also be familiar with the Tea Act and how the British East India Company was involved.  Please encourage your child to study a little each evening so that he/she is prepared to show what he/she knows.
