we are ready to different branches of government and their roles.  After examining the roles of the Judicial, Executive, and Legislative branches students will learn how power is balanced through a system of checks and balances.  Students will apply informative reading skills to compare and contrast each of the three branches.  This will also provide students with a chance to summarize information that they have learned.
