This week students will take a checkpoint covering the 3 branches of government and their roles.  Students should also be able to identify the groups or individuals associated with each branch.  It is important to understand how each of these branches BALANCES each other!

Next week, we move ahead to the Bill of Rights.  Students will have the chance to analyze the first 10 Amendments to our Constitution and act out scenarios showing how important each Amendment is.
