One of the greatest challenges faced by our new nation was creating a government. The very first government created after the Revolutionary War was the Articles of Confederation. With this government, states had more power than the central government. This week students will explore the limited powers given to the central government in the Articles of Confederation, as well as the powers given to each state. Will The Articles of Confederation be in place long, or will Americans call for change?
