During Quarter 2, students will research either the Civil Rights Movement or the Women's Movement.  In doing so, students will paraphrase notes on influential events, people, and decisions made during the movement.  This will allow students to examine why changes were needed and how they were brought about.  This informative essay will also provide students with information for the opinion piece, which we will begin later this marking period.
