Students used the information gathered during science to create an informative post card about their favorite planet.  Although the majority of the writing contained facts, creativity was used so that it seemed as if each student has visited each planet.  For instance, in order to visit Mercury, one may need to pack his/her SPF 5000 and heat resistant suit to avoid the extreme heat!

As students finish this assignment, they will begin to create historical narratives set during the industrial revolution.
