Now that topics are selected, students have started to research topics for our current informative writing piece - movements of change.  While note taking, students will practice paraphrasing skills.  It is also important for students to record the source of the information so they can give proper credit when drafting.  Once research is complete (hopefully by the end of next week) students will start to draft this 5 paragraph essay.
