Students are in the final stages of publishing the informative essay for the second quarter.  Once this piece is complete, students will use research from this assignment to form an opinion.  Each student will select an event or individual that had the greatest impact on either the Civil Rights Movement or the Women's Movement.  Once an opinion is stated, students will support it using evidence from previous research.  This project will be a 3 slide presentation using GoogleSlides.  We are lucky that this program is very similar to Powerpoint!   Pictures (with captions added by students) will also be used to support each opinion.

It's always a good idea to practice typing skills in your free time!  10 minutes a day can  make a big difference!
