As we begin the 3rd marking period, students will brainstorm a variety of topics they are interested in.  Once the topic list is narrowed down, we hope to have 4-5 topics for students to choose from.  Students will write to inform others about the topic of their choice.  This provides students with a chance to connect their background knowledge to research.  A certain sport? A place?  We can't wait to see the topics our students come up with!
