are main topics for reading group discussion this week. Students will sequence the events of their guided reading text and determine how the order of those events affects the story. During whole group, the concept of theme will be introduced. Together, students will explore some common themes in literature. Later, they will apply this knowledge to their literature circle novels as well as guided reading texts.

when it comes to literature circle roles and discussions! We will discuss short stories and literature circle novels, as well as have guided reading instruction.
