We love informative reading!

Now that we are done examining informational poetry, students will focus on text structure. Students will read a variety of texts on a topic, such as bats or bees. With both topics students will examine multiple sources and collect evidence to answer a specific question. It will be important to keep in mind the viewpoint of each source, as that may affect how the information is presented.
